I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. I was very pleasantly surprised at the gifts that I received from my wonderful wife, Melissa. She knows that I love old things, antiques and the like, and cameras in particular. So for Christmas she got me not one, but three antique cameras. 3D Robot progress

Chris Lane / 3D Modeling / / 0 Comments

It was a while ago that I asked for recommendations on which 3D robot to make. Well, I finally got a chance to work on it for some time. I decided to go with something relatively simple for now, but when it is done it shouldn’t look simple. Christmas card designs

Chris Lane / Design, photography / / 0 Comments

Now available exclusively to my clients are the following Christmas card designs. I designed these myself, so they are unavailable anywhere else. Most designs are available in both vertical and horizontal layout.
Clients can choose which photo(s) they want displayed out of their photo set and what words they want written. There is no minimum order and you can get any combination of cards if you want more than one variety (unlike most sites that require ordering in quantities of 20).
It is a little late now for photography services before Christmas, but these cards will also be available next year as well as more I design for 2011. Hope to hear from you soon!

Flash

I tend to ignore the flash that is prebuilt into the camera. All P&S cameras have a built in flash. Not all flash is good though. Most P&S cameras have a fixed flash. In other words, it is close to the lens and points forward and unchangeable. The problem with straight on flash like that is that it is terrible for
