I need your help
October 21st, 2010See, I want to work on some more personal 3D projects, but the main problem is, I need an idea. Well, I like to doodle in my sketchbook and one day I decided I would draw out a page full of various robots. Then, I thought, why not make one or more into 3D and animate them. Now what I want to know is, which do you think I should make 3D? So, take a look at this sketch of robots and let me know what you think in the comments. When there are some votes, I’ll decide on the winner and make some progress posts of the 3D project as I work.

def the robot with the spider body! that looks fuN!
Bottom left, the one with the face in profile and body made of limp noodles. Yep, I can picture him dancing already.
Top middle 3rd one over from the left – Track max attacks!!! DD2
I pick the one that is just to the right of the one Dean picked. The one with the square body and has toes. It would almost look like you running in your weird shoes.
i like the top right spider looking one with big head
I like 2 of them. Second row, forth down. I say “snakbot” and first row second down. Tristan likes the one with the spider legs and the one at the bottom he calls Tractor robot.
[...] was a while ago that I asked for recommendations on which 3D robot to make. Well, I finally got a chance to work on it for some time. I decided to go with something relatively [...]
I like the spider-looking one. I think it would look really cool walking on those cone feet. Pokey, you know. Also, with the multiple arms and multiple bending possibilities, I think you could come up with some pretty intense movements of the body – a lot could/would be going.
