No, that isn’t a misspelling in the post title. It is the name of this particular photo subject, a detail shot of an old fire extinguisher. This is Friday Photo #26. I have been working through (slowly!) my photo series from the Wilson Bros building. Besides the texture on this extinguisher, I was particularly drawn to the old design. I’ll just leave it at that for today, and enjoy:

I recently had the fortune of working with a local small businesswoman and friend, Lori Lindholm to design a logo for her Newfolden, Minnesota based business. Lori primarily creates tutus for young girls. Having five girls herself, she is the perfect person to run a business such as this and I wanted to give her a great logo to match. Her business is called 5pinkfairies.
After she approached me, I gave her an initial survey of questions to help me in the process of the design. I had subsequent questions as well and then got to the mind mapping. I listed all the things related to the name and the product (which also included custom scarves) and the type of logo she wanted. Her main key words were vintage, universal, pink, girly.
