Wednesday evening sunset

As promised in my Tuesday evening blog post, here is the sunset photo from that Wednesday the 23rd. Enjoy!

Wednesday morning sunrise

Sorry I haven’t been posting in a couple weeks. I’ve been quite busy with winter preparations, holidays, and revamping my website. So quickly here I am going to post a sunrise photo from Wednesday November 23rd. This Friday I will post a sundown from the same day. Enjoy

Under the Mississippi Bridge

A new photo (actually this was taken back in July 2010) to post and some good news. I intend to be back on a regular weekly schedule for the blog next week with a long form post on Tuesday evenings and a new photo on Fridays. But to tide you over for now, here is this:

This is a walking bridge in Itasca State Park very near the Mississippi Headwaters in Minnesota. This goes over the Mississippi river where it is only a few feet wide and about 1.5 ft deep. The river is quite lovely to walk in at this point, warmed by the sun. I liked the repetition of the posts but a lack of perfection.

Senior Photo Shoot – Brittany B – Class of 2012

I recently had a great senior photo shoot with the Thief River Falls future graduate, Brittany. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you may have already seen a few of the photos, but I thought I would share more from the set.
These were all taken within Thief River Falls, Minnesota around various locations in town.
This first photo was taken by the old Wilson Bros. building, now occupied by Healthy U. You may remember that I also took this and this photo inside that building.

They had an impressive show and I’d like to share some of it and how to take great fireworks photos yourself. Unfortunately, photos never can really give a real indication of not only the scope, but the feeling of a fireworks display.
